My patient's name is Ivan Abashev. Yesterday, he complained that he got vomiting with headaches. He also had diarrhoea. He was on addmission at the hospital because he had severe abdominal pain and high fever. This morning, he looks weekness and shivering. Hye guys!! Here I would like to share my feel with you about my english class. As we know English is one of the most important subject nowadays. It's also kown as a second language that help us to communicate with the other person whose come from the different race,religion and so on. It's make we become comfortable in order to speak with somebody and makes the interchenge of information become easier.
In our course of diploma in nursing,we HAVE to take english class either we like or not because it will help in our career soon.My english lecture is Pn.Normila.She can be describes as a happy go lucky person. She always make us laught in order to make us happy and 'freshy' during her class. I enjoyed her class very much althougt at the first sight I felt very bored and very sleepy.
hmm...about my friends?? Yeah,they are very kind. We can accept each other very well. We studied and did the assignment together in order to get the highest mark as well.huhu... lastly,here i would like to thank to my lecture and all my friends for all of their helps... tQ guys!!

Aliff is having abdominal pain since yesterday. It was mild when it started yesterday but constant. It got worse last night especially at the upper left side of his abdomen. He said it feels like something gnawning him from the inside of his body and it stays at the same place. The pain aggravates when he coughs but sitting on 45 degrees position helps to alleviate the pain.

Fadillah is 18 years old and she's studying at Hospital Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (HUKM) currently for diploma in nursing. She's going to have her examination by next week so she's very busy flipping through the thick book of nursing right now. The reason why she wants to be a nurse because it is her ambition since she was a kid. She said being a nurse really suits her because she loves working with poeple and hates doing paperworks. She would like to become a scrub nurse one day because it is giving her the adrenaline rush and she just loves it. but since she still in year one she do not has the chance yet. Fadillah spent the last two weeks at medical wards because she was posted there. Fadillah is good at mingle with other poeple and she's a very disciplined lady. During weekends, she would spend her time with window shopping with her friends and jogging at the nearby recreational park.

In my opinion,nursing course is a very important course in our country.It is because this course give an occupation to fill up all the job application in Malaysia.Furthermore,nursing is also important because nursing is a good and dignity profession.It is demanded in every country such as Saudi Arabia and Philiphines.

This course is different compared to other course.It is because this course are practised with skills in hospital or clinics.Nurses are person who will give good treatment and they will be supporting the doctor.Nurses can treat the patient and they also have to take care of the patient during patient stay in the ward.

If you are in nursing course,you also can give your services in overseas such as Saudi Arabia.It is because the country need more nurses and the salary is also expensive.Nursing course in Malaysia treat the student to be a good and diciplines nurse.Student nurse is also teachs to be a kind and have a lot of commitment in nursing profession.

Nursing in our life also important.Without nurse,we do not know what should we do if something happens to ourself.Otherwise,nurses should be the first person to say thank you because the nurses take care of the patient.Not the doctor.It is because the nurses take care to our body very well such as cleanliness and so on.

As a conclusion,nursing profession is very useful and the best profession in the world.You may not be worried about the salary when you are in the world but you also have been promised your reward in the Next world.I hope i will stay in this profession until i die.

Thank you for teaching me.I hope you have a great Hari Raya Aidilfitri.Thanks,for making me a better english student and more confident how to speak english very well.At least I know how to pronouce english words very clear.This is my only english class that was exciting to go to everyday.You give a move hands on learning and really challenged as to think.Many teachers never get the true meaning of teaching.My uncle is a teacher and for his students he taught them with hands on and got student to read who could't read and ther became exicited about reading.

Pheww..english subject again..

That was my first reaction when i know that i will learn this ''unwanted subject''. It is because i never think that i'm gonna take this paper when reach a university chair, but it is no wonder because most of the subjects in Nursing Diploma are in english. So, wheater i like or not i must learn english.

When the lecturers of this subject came into my class, do you want to know what was sentence in my mind?.. "i'm going to die"..that's it!! Because there was three lecturers! How can i'm going to live? Their face is like my old school teacher,who was always angry with me, especially my chemistry teacher.

Syuhaibah bt Abdul Halim is eigteen years old.She born at Sungai Petani,Kedah.Her birthday on 07.05.1989.Now she's studying for a diploma in nursing at Hospital Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia(HUKM).She has exams next month,so at the moment she's studying hard.She wants to be a nurse because she likes helping people and she interested in science.

She'd like to be a paediatric nurse because she really enjoy working with children.She's worked on a medical's ward for two weeks.In the ward,she practice that she learned in the class.One day,she hopes to work in a children's hospital in Japan,which she heard from evryone.

She's good at talking to people and making them feel happy and she's very organized.In her free time she reads book,and also she likes to practice dance most weekends after "dance class" with Kak Azra.

SYMPTOM REPORT

Yesterday, Mr. Ivan Abashev had a mild fever and complaint for headaches. He suffered vomiting with headaches and poor diarrhoea with an occasional pain in the head and stomach. He was admitted to hospital last night. On admission, he was suffered of severe abdominal pain and high fever. This morning, He is still weakness and sometimes shivering. He is complaint of pain in left abdomen, it is constant and stabbing.

PATIENT WHO HAD FOOD POISONING

Three days ago Miss Ivan abashev had a high fever and complained of severe abdominal pain.Yesterday she suffered headache and vomiting with a bad diarrhoea.This morning she experiences weakness and shivering.Now she is suffering a constant and stabbing pain in her left abdomen.

PAIN REPORT

Nur Hidayah Samsudin has a problem with her liver which causing pain. It began suddenly last week as mild but constant pain all over the chest. Now it is worse and is on the right anterior side of chest. The pain get worse when she is breathing.

Nurse education is physically,emotionally and financially stressful.Many students say that everything went wrong in,their lives while they ,were getting their nursing qualification.It's an intense, hectic,demanding and stressful programme.Your friends on the course will help you they friends are those I met on my nursing course .Make sure as well to set aside time for friends and family who aren't on the course.You being on the course will be though on them,too .

When the course is over ,thing will stabilize.When it's over you you will loook back and wonder where the time went...

While you are on the course ,remember it will be terrible some days.It will have you stressed to the point of screaming.It will fell like it is never going to end.Days when you are walking on air and feel so happy you would like to dance on the ceiling.And then ,before you know it,

it wil be over and you will be a nurse ...........YOU CAN DO IT!!!!...........................

Pain report...........

The patient has abdominal pain.It began suddenly last night as mild but constant pain all over the upper part of the abdominal cavity.Now it is more bad ,and is on the left -hand side of the upper part of the abdominal cavity.The pain was burning pain.The pain gets worse when she laying on the bed.

My lady patient......

Today i have received my new patient at Surgical Clinic around 10.30 am.I looked her condition and her face.In my opinion,i thought that this patient may be have a problem.And thanks God what i thought is true.
My patient name is Miss Shana.After i introduce myseft,she already relaxed to told me about her problem.She told me that she felt not so comfortable around her chest since 2 weeks ago.She felt the pain as moderate but throbbing pain all over her pain.According to the doctor,this patient has liver problem.
Now,it is staying the same and is on the right hand side of the hepar.She also told me that the pain got worse whenever she is in cold.

SORE/STREP THROAT..................

Sore throats caused by the streptococcal bacteria are usually accompained by pain when swallowing,fever,headache,stomach ache and swollen tonsils and lymph glands.The back of the throat might become red with patches.

To prevent strep throats,we must not share eating utensils,napkins,handkerchiefs or towel.However,if it occurs,it must be propley treated as it can put childrent at risk of rheumatic heart disease..........

Diagnosis strep throat requires a throat swab.Typical treatment includes Peniciallin or other antibiotics be allowed to return to pre-school after they hav been on medication for at least 24 hours and are free of fever.............................................

Yesterday Miss Jaya Letchumi was admitted to M edical Ward 5 at HUKM. As a incharge nurse,its my responsibility to ill in the admission form for the new patient, Miss Jaya Letchumy. Here is what I have found after interviewing her.

From my observation, I come to know that Miss Jaya got a serious liver problem.It has been one week since she suffering from this condition. According to her the pain getting worse each day. It also attact more frequent lately.She said the pain feels like burning around her chest.Now, Miss Jaya says she starting having difficulties to breath.

But I believe Miss Jaya will be treat well here at HUKM. There is a lot of speacialist that will look after her. She will recover soon.

first, let me tell you what nursing is not.nursing is not the profesion you enter when you are not enough to become a medic, or when your aren't good enough for other courses of study.it's not just women's work.it's not the way to get into other careers or professions.it's not the job for someone who just want to serve(or meet and marry) a member of another profession.it's not the uniform you put on for work.
nursing is a profession in its own theories and frameworks and its own way of looking at the world.nursing is something that will become part of you,will guide the way you think and act in every situation,not just at work.some people jokingly say that becoming a nurse is a terminal discase-it will be there,a part of you,until you are no mere.the way you see the world and the people in it,will be coloured by your nursing knowledge and judgement.
so stepping into nursing is not just entering a profession it's allowing the profession to entre you.you might leave nursing and have other careers but what you learn as a nurse will always be a part of you.........................

ABOUT MY PARTNER

Her name is Marline Sikau.She is 18years old.Marline doing her Diploma in Nursing at University Kebangsaan Malaysia.Marline is going to go for her clinical posting in two weeks time.Marline will be sitting for her mid-term exam next month.At the moment she is preparing herself for the clinical posting and also exam.She want to be a nurse because its her ambition since small.Marline will graduate in year 2010.She wants to work at the paediatrics ward because she loves babies.Marline always attracts people with her sweet smile and the way she communicates make the others fill comfortable.Marline's hobby is reading books and listening to the musics.
