what is nursing?

a cat is not a dog.....................

first, let me tell you what nursing is not.nursing is not the profesion you enter when you are not enough to become a medic, or when your aren't good enough for other courses of study.it's not just women's work.it's not the way to get into other careers or professions.it's not the job for someone who just want to serve(or meet and marry) a member of another profession.it's not the uniform you put on for work.
nursing is a profession in its own theories and frameworks and its own way of looking at the world.nursing is something that will become part of you,will guide the way you think and act in every situation,not just at work.some people jokingly say that becoming a nurse is a terminal discase-it will be there,a part of you,until you are no mere.the way you see the world and the people in it,will be coloured by your nursing knowledge and judgement.
so stepping into nursing is not just entering a profession it's allowing the profession to entre you.you might leave nursing and have other careers but what you learn as a nurse will always be a part of you.........................

MY SWEET FRIEND SYUHADA

Nur Syuhada Binti Mohd Hatta is eighteen year old.She's studing for a diploma in nursing at National University of Malaysia.She has mid year next month,so at the moment she's studing hard.She want to be a nurse becouse she like help people and she's interested in science ,but really does't like doing paperwork.

She'd like to be a midwife becouse she really enjoys working attends births and delivers babies.She hopes to work on a ginecology ward.

Shaharie Mazleinaa bt Ramli or her glamour name is Shana who is my friend and also my housemate.She is eighteen years old.She is studying in diploma in nursing at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia.We are very proud to be student of Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia.This is our first year here.She will go for clinical posting next week in surgical ward.So,at the moment she's now busy to learn more about givingcare to the patient.She give me a very good reason why she choose nursing.The reason is because she like to help people who are inneed but she really don't like to see kids crying.Wow!!I think only she do not like to see kids crying.I like to see kids crying because the baby will look cute and chubby.
She wants to be a scrub nurse after she graduate because she enjoys working with surgeon.In my mind,i think that she want to stay close with the handsome doctor but for her,she think that surgery is very fun but she doesn't think about the risk when she in operating theathre.But i respect her because she is very brave to take risk.One day,she hopes to work in the operating theathre and live up her dream.
She's very good at singing and she always drives all of her housemate going crazy.Shana is very happy and go-lucky girl.In her free time,she loves to dance while she listening to music especially to the rock song and she become sensitive while she listening to the love song.

Noor Elyanie Bt.Ismail is one of my housemate.She is eighteen years old.She's from Kampung Telaga Papan,Kelantan.Now,she is studying in nursing at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia.This year is her first year.Next week,she will go for posting clinical at HUKM in surgical ward.Nursing is Noor Elyanie's first choice.She want to be a nurse since she was in secondary school.She likes to help people and for her,doing nursing course have a bright future.Moreover,we can do charity too.Noor Elyanie would like to be paediatric nurse because she's like children so much.For her,working with children is very interesting.However,Noor Elyanie is a friendly person.She likes to smile and she also love to help people who indeed.During her past time,She like to sing,take a walk and reading books.She also likes to play with water in the toilet.
